Raphaël Fournier’s JSB Compétition Hyundai has been excluded from the second race of the weekend at Mugello, after the French driver’s car was found to not be compliant with the technical regulations.

The 18-year-old was originally classed in 14th place on the provisional result, but in post-race scrutineering the car was found in breach of the specification for the intake system

maximum boost pressure, which is defined under the Balance of Performance measures.

The team accepted fault, but explained that no performance advantage was gained. The stewards excluded the car for non-compliance with the technical regulations.

This moved Santiago Concepción and Sandro Pelatti up into the points, as well as Giacomo Prandelli following Adam Shepherd’s earlier time penalty.
